Where It All Began
Since 2009, Jordan has established himself as a forward-thinking figure in the music industry. Beginning his musical journey in Norfolk, Virginia, he discovered his passion for acoustic and electric guitar at the age of 14. Drawing inspiration from renowned acts like The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, Phish, Dave Matthews, and Gov’t Mule, Jordan embarked on his musical path by performing at open-mic nights at Mojo Bones in Ocean View, VA, accompanied by his parents.
Co-founding the Psychedelic Funk band "Bended Light," Jordan served as the lead guitarist and vocalist, alongside Jack Gallagher, Keith Perkins, and Andy Cappetta, operating in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area for eight years. He also showcased his talent as a lead guitarist in various bands, including The Lawn Boys (Phish Tribute), The Lena Klett Band, and Hammerhead Blues band. Throughout his nearly decade-long tenure with Bended Light, Jordan toured extensively across Virginia and neighboring states, entertaining audiences at festivals, clubs, and bars.
In his solo acoustic performances, Jordan delivers a captivating blend of jam-band classics, bluegrass tunes, and funky psychedelic sounds, captivating audiences and broadening musical horizons. In August 2022, Jordan relocated from Norfolk to Richmond, Virginia, collaborating with local artists such as Danny Jams, Lena Klett, and Kevin Boswell.
By June 2023, Jordan joined the Psychedelic Indie Jam band "Dan & the Fam" as the fourth member, based in Richmond, Virginia. Subsequently, in September 2023, Jordan assumed the role of lead guitarist for the Richmond-based band "Gravy Boat," featuring Greg Thorpe, Mike Zuk, and Hunter Rhodes. As of March 2024, Jordan expanded his musical endeavors by joining the Richmond band "Slingshot on Mars" as the second guitarist, alongside Rob Lord, Tim Dunkum, Ryan Shaunessey, and Kevin Turner.
